On the Issues
When elected, Adam will work hard on behalf of all the residents of Ward 5 and of Malden to ensure that the Malden Public Schools continues to receive the highest quality services possible.
Communication-
- Create and maintain an email list of Ward 5 constituents to keep residents informed
- Hold drop in hours at the Forestdale and Salemwood schools for constituents to be able to voice their concerns
- Promote regular maintenance of teacher web pages as a communication tool
- Solicit input from residents on issues such as safety policy and the budget
Community-
- Stress community partnerships like MATV, PCSM, and the Malden Public Library as resources that our school children can and should tap into
- Publicize after-school and before-school opportunities available
- Encourage more parent participation in school organizations and events
- Try to solicit more feedback from the community at large on school issues
