Adam Weldai announces run for Malden School Committee
My name is Adam Weldai. I am a lifelong Maldonian and Ward 5 resident, and a graduate of the Malden Public Schools. Currently, I am at Tufts University studying Education and American Studies. I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Ward 5 School Committee.
Over the years, I have worked for the Partnership for Community Schools in Malden and as a substitute teacher. Most recently, I have been honored to serve as a citizen teacher for the Citizen Schools program at the Salemwood School and as a member of the Forestdale School PTO. Also, throughout my years serving as the Malden High School student representative to the School Committee, I gained experience in the process and work of the School Committee. It was there that I developed a passion for helping to move our school system forward. I know that I can serve competently as the next representative for Ward 5.
As a candidate, I will work to earn your support! As a member of the Malden community, I hold our public officials to the same standards to which I hope to be held. I will be available, accountable, and accessible to our neighbors here in Ward 5. I will do my best to provide you with the responsible representation we deserve.
